FAQ
Here’s everything you might be wondering as you plan your session. I want you to feel relaxed, excited, and totally prepared, because your experience matters just as much as your photos.
Frequently Asked Questions ...
What makes you different?
I’m here to capture real connection and emotion, not stiff poses or fake smiles. I’ll never make you say “cheese.” Instead, I create a fun, relaxed environment where your family can just be. Whether it’s a giggle between siblings, a tender moment with your newborn, or a windswept beach cuddle, I’m always watching for the in-between magic.
What’s your style?
Think: warm, natural, relaxed and storytelling. I use natural light, gentle prompts, and soft tones to create images that feel like you. You won’t find anything overly posed, just real moments that reflect your family’s unique rhythm and connection.
What should I expect?
Before your shoot, I’ll guide you every step of the way, from what to wear to where we’ll go. During the session, I’ll keep things light, playful, and stress-free. I’ll direct gently when needed, but mostly, I’ll encourage you to interact and enjoy the moment. Trust me, the best images happen when you're just being yourselves.
What time do sessions take place?
Sessions usually take place during golden hour, the beautiful soft light about 1–2 hours before sunset. This gives us that dreamy, warm glow. For in-home newborn sessions, I prefer mid-morning, when your home has the most natural light and everyone is usually at their calmest.
Where do the sessions take place?
Most of my outdoor shoots are around the Sutherland Shire and Cronulla, think coastal backdrops and hidden gems I’ve scouted just for my clients. For newborns, I offer in-home sessions that are calm, cozy, and tailored to your family’s pace and space.
What happens if one of us is sick?
Health always comes first, especially with little ones and newborns. If anyone is feeling unwell, please just let me know as early as possible and we’ll reschedule with no fuss. I’ll always do my best to find a new date for you.
What if the weather is bad?
I’ll make the call on the morning of your session, based on the latest forecast. If it looks like rain or strong winds, we’ll either reschedule or move to an indoor option if available. I always want you to feel comfortable and enjoy the experience, so flexibility is part of the process.
When will I receive my photos?
Your finished gallery will be delivered via a private online link within 2–3 weeks of your session. You’ll be able to download your favourite images, order prints, and share your photos easily with family and friends.
